Welcome to the Age of Ruin

Age of Ruin is a science fiction writing and worldbuilding project set in the far-distant future.

The Problem We Face

Thanks to the artificial injection of leftism into every aspect of our culture, popular escapist fiction has been terminally infected with seething contempt for the true, the beautiful, and the just. They hate God, they hate White people, and they hate quality story-telling. Spite-filled cretins write screeds of thinly-disguised resentment, propped up by a publishing industry that shares their dysfunctions. Rubbing your nose in diversity, sexual deviancy, feminism, materialism, and misery is the goal. Leftists are psychotic freaks who cannot experience joy, and they’re determined to make sure you can’t either.

If you’ve noticed a drastic decline in quality in your favorite sci-fi franchise, and in entertainment in general, that’s why. Like an infestation of black mold, the disease of leftism has long lurked beneath the surface. The entertainment industry has long been a hideout for malcontents, sex pests, communists, and every other sort of resentful societal misfit. The sci-fi and fantasy writing “community” have repeatedly gone to bat for all sorts of abusers. The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America in particular have had no end of pedophilia scandals.

In the same way drug addicts and dealers are able to find each other in the wild, so too have these reprobates managed to coordinate their efforts and infest every aspect of mainstream entertainment. Unfortunately, there’s no “taking back” any of your favorite properties. They don’t belong to you and never did. Powerful financial interests have invested too much money in the project of subjecting you to the gay panopticon to let you engage in escapism.

What Do We Do About It?

If we cannot take back that which used to be good (or at least entertaining), then we must create our own stories, art, and games. After we have created these things, we must remain ever vigilant against entryists who seek to warp and twist what decent people have made into tool for wickedness. The gates must be kept against the barbarians.

Age of Ruin is one such effort in creating the entertainment we want to consume. Nobody is going to make it for us, so we have to make it ourselves.

My plan is simple: Writers write stories set in the Age of Ruin universe, and if they’re any good I pay them.

My previous effort to solicit sci-fi stories went better than I expected. You can check out the fruits of that effort by reading Age of Ruin: From the Ashes, our first short story collection under the COLLECTIONS tab on the main page. The talent is out there. So is the desire to both read and write quality sci-fi set in an epic, galaxy-spanning conflict. Someone just needs to grease the wheels and provide a framework for that creativity.

All I need from you is to interact with what we’re creating and to share it with your friends who share our views. Too many people are completely oblivious to the fact that alternative entertainment even exists, or write off those alternatives as kitschy or too on-the-nose. Not so here. This is the good stuff.
